About Marshmallow - Located in Brunswick East
Meow! Hi there, I'm Marshmallow, the purrfect little kitty looking for my forever home! 🐾
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a fluffy ball of love and joy, always ready to play and cuddle up with my favorite humans. Playtime is my absolute favorite—I could chase after a ball or pounce on a mysterious moving light for hours on end! There's just something so thrilling about the chase, don't you think?
But when it's time to wind down and relax, I transform into the sweetest little cuddle bug you'll ever meet. I'll happily curl up in your lap, purring contentedly as we enjoy some quality snuggle time together. There's nothing I love more than being close to the ones I love, feeling their warmth and affection surrounding me.
I've got plenty of love to share. Whether it's chasing toys, showering you with affection, or simply being by your side, I'm here to bring a little extra sunshine into your life.
So, if you're searching for a furry friend who's equal parts playful and affectionate, look no further! I'm ready to fill your days with laughter, love, and endless cuddles. Let's make memories together that are as sweet as my name—Marshmallow! 🐱💕

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
