About Bolt
Bolt is looking for a carer or forever home, through no fault of his own 💙
From Bolt's owner:
"Bolt is a Border Collie, Catahoula mix and the most lovable dog I have ever had the pleasure of living with.
He wants nothing more than to be by my side, receive cuddles, or just lay down next to you for a nap, only opening his eyes every few seconds to make sure you're still there 💕.
He also loves to have a play when outside, whether it's a large yard or a small court, he adapts and enjoys his surrounds no matter the area.
He is inquisitive and at times, would just sit by the door and just watch the world go by, or for my partner or myself to come home❣️
Bolt loves to do tricks, especially if it means play time or treats. He is highly food driven and at the same time, equally as relaxed.
He also picks up on your feelings as he is quite empathetic it seems. If you've had a rough day, he would just want to hang out and be there for you, and if you're full of beans, he will want to play❣️
Bolt is definitely the forever pet as he slots himself into your family so quickly and effortlessly, you'd think he was part of the family for years💙🐾."
Bolt loves to go for walks on his halti, is house-trained ✔️ and sleeps inside at night 💤.
He weighs 40Kg.
If you can give Bolt either a temporary foster home or a forever home, we would love to hear from you. Please complete the form below, indicating foster or adoption.
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
