Merrick is a gorgeous lad with a large and sturdy physique. He has a remarkable temperament that makes him a gentle and friendly companion, especially with other dogs. He enjoys socialising with his canine friends. He is also very smart and obedient, as he can perform various commands such as sit, drop, and go to his bed.

He copes well with being left at home after a walk napping outside whilst his human is away for work.

He shows his affection by following his human family around and lying next to them for a nap. He is great with small children and can be trusted to behave well around them. He has encountered cats before and has shown curiosity and interest in them, but not aggression.
