Introducing Jagz our friendly and happy 14-week-old Whippet x Kelpie pup.

Jagz is a confident young man with a sweet and loyal nature. He is looking for an active home where he will be part of the family and taken on all sorts of adventures. Jagz enjoys the company of other dogs and the fun, games and companionship that they offer. He particularly loves to play tug with the pooches in his foster home.

Jagz is a quick learner and is highly focused. He walks well on a lead, knows how to sit, sits and waits for the door to be opened before entering and thrives with routine. Jagz sleeps in his crate of a night and likes to be kept occupied during daylight hours. He is eager to learn new things and explore the big wide world.

Being a Whippet x Kelpie Jagz has plenty of energy to burn and requires regular exercise and mental stimulation. Like all pups his forever family should be committed to ongoing training and socialisation. Enrolling him in puppy school is a great start and we know he will excel due to his intelligence. When he is older you may like to consider scent training or agility classes – there is so much fun and learning to be had!

Although he is an active lad, Jagz loves to snuggle and is very affectionate. He adores people and will bring so much love and fun to his forever family. He is best suited to a home without cats (unless they are dog savvy) or pocket pets that free range as he is a little too interested in them and his attention isn’t always appreciated. However with consistent training and boundaries we are confident this can be managed because he is so eager to please his people.

** Ollie's Legacy is located in Bendigo, Central Victoria (approx 2 hours from Melbourne CBD)
** We are unable to place holds on our animals. This means that if you are unable to adopt your new family member within 7 days, please do not apply until you are ready.
