About Floyd
Meet Floyd, a gallant Jack Russell Terrier with an energetic zest for life. This little fellow is as sweet and affectionate as they come!
Floyd is an outdoorsy dog who enjoys the freedom of an open space. Sleeping under the stars in his favourite chair, he wouldn't want it any other way. His boundless energy and playful spirit make him a joy to be around, and he has the agility and stamina to keep up with the most active families. Floyd would be better suited as a only dog.
Floyd radiates his happiness throughout the home, contributing to a delightful and lively atmosphere. His sweet personality and friendliness shine through in his interactions with both children and adults. Don't be fooled by Floyd's small size; he carries a big heart that loves unconditionally.
This delightful fellow has a playful side that will keep you entertained. His favorite game is fetch, and he could play for hours, running happily after a ball before returning it, tail wagging enthusiastically. His athletic disposition and love for activity make him an excellent partner for outdoor adventures.
Even though, Floyd can be a little stubborn at times, he's all bark and no bite. His sometimes stubborn side just adds a charming layer to his fun-loving and enchanting personality. And with a gentle cuddle and a few soothing words, he'll be back to his cheerful self again.
Overall, Floyd's love for life and his playful eagerness make him a delightful addition to any family that loves to embrace outdoor living with an engaging companion. One look at Floyd's cheerful face, and it'll be evident that he's eager to become part of his new family as soon as possible.
Medical notes
Floyd passed his medical.
He has minimal dental plaque and will need this to be monitored.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
