About Calyx
Calyx is a delightful little gal, she loves cuddling up on the couch, walks to the park to explore, playing with her toys and snoozing in her bed while you work.
She is tiny, terrific, confident and ever so sweet! Oh did we mention, insanely cute and potentially crossed with a meerkat?
MY IDEAL HOME: Calyx loves to join you on your day to day errands or be by your side as you work from home however she is okay being left at home in the company of her fur friends. She is a confident girl who is looking for a family that can give her lots of positive social experiences and continue to work on her basic training (like house training, she's almost got it but sometimes needs a gentle reminder). Calyx could share her home with another dog or cat, even kids!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Cal loves to patter round the house, scampering inside and out. She also loves walking and despite her tiny little legs she has plenty of energy on walks and requires a good daily adventure to keep her physically and mentally happy!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Calyx would be fine with gentle children, she's currently living with kids under 10 without issue, she's quite tolerant and confident so as long as they respect her, she respects them.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Calyx gets along fine with the other cats and dogs in her foster household. She's not particularly attached to any of them so would be fine as a solo pet, provided there's plenty of people time. Cally is quite curious and isn't frightened if the cats have a swipe at her when she gets close.

Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
