About Eleanor
We hope you've been practising your curtseys and bows?! Because Your Majesty Eleanor aka "Codrington Queen" has entered the room!
More than just a beautiful Royal, The Codrington Queen Eleanor has many a glorious qualities:
✅ Loves cuddles - all day! She will linger and hang around like a bad smell for them!
✅ Quite the Mrs Kravitz, Eleanor is very much a stickybeak! She likes to know what's going on and who's doing it!
✅ Enjoys a stroll or adventure! Eleanor does pull on the lead to start (oh my god walkies! walkies! walkies!) but she settles quickly.
✅ Not quite the Eveready Bunny, Eleanor has bursts of energy - but then chills straight away and wants to relax.
✅ She may be a Queen but she is still a clean and quiet lady in her kennel.
✅ Good with other dogs:
- Regularly interacts with other Greyhounds.
- Currently lives with a Whippet.
- Eleanor was a little pushy when she first met a small Italian Greyhound, but disengaged quickly. The Italian Greyhound got a bit noisy and Eleanor didn't react.
- She would still need very slow, gradual introductions to any new dogs.
✅ Good with older children:
- Eleanor has only interacted with kids aged 14+ years old (she thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with the youths!)
- She may be perfectly fine with younger children, after a nice meet and greet to see how everybody goes.
Adoption details
All greyhounds are desexed, vaccinated and have a full dental before rehoming. They are also lifetime registered in New South Wales once they have settled into their new homes.
Applications for Foster or Adoption are open to all residents in NSW and SE QLD, however should you wish to arrange a "meet & greet" or adoption pick up, you will be required to travel to the area the dog is located and meet all criteria for owning a greyhound.
