About Polly
Pollys requirement in his new home:
- another desexed playful cat or kitten
- Inside only lifestyle with the option on an outside cat enclosure.
- A house that is calm and not too many scary noises or movements
- Hasn't lived with dogs.
Polly is an adventurous and playful kitty. He loves to put his head through any tiny gap and see what's inside!
He is a mischief maker when playing with his brothers. He takes delight in this role. But enter the human, and he always comes running for a love rub against your feet and ankles.
Polly is a bit concerned about scary or sudden loud noises, but he can be talked around quickly into staying and be brave.
One of two ginger kitties from a group of 5 in the litter, Polly was born on the doorstep of an older lady whom his young mother had befriended whilst gardening.
He has had the best start to life, staying with his mother in Foster care, and learning how to clean himself and use the cat litter!
Due to mother cat being terrified of dogs, these kittens have yet to be socialised with canine friends.
*All cats and kittens adopted through Pyrenees Animal Rescue are only available to homes where they will be kept indoors or in a secure cat run/enclosure. A yard with fencing is not enough to keep an adventurous cat contained, safe from dogs and traffic.*
Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
