About Wednesday
Wednesday is all about keeping her people clean. She loves to snuggle in and lick you. When you're sleeping, she likes to curl up against your back.
She's a smoochy friendly little girl. She's good with other cats, but doesn't really seek out their company. She'll play with them happily enough if they come to her. But she'd be happy to be an only cat. She's fine with her own company.
She's not at all worried about the dogs at her foster home. And she's happy for the kids in her foster home to lug her around. She's really easygoing.
She has the most amazing markings on her front. Just when you think she's a black cat, you catch sight of the grey stripes down her front. She's absolutely stunning. Beautiful inside and out.
Medical notes
Wednesday was unable to be vaccinated due to the vaccine shortage. As a result her adoption fee has been reduced from our usual adoption fee.
Wednesday is a parvo survivor.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
