About Elbie
*In foster care in Bondi, Sydney*
A friendly and confident cat, Elbie adores pats and human company more than anything else on the planet!
If you're not around, or busy with something else, she'll happily entertain herself by exploring the house or playing with her feather toy. You'll often find her sitting on the back cushion of the sofa, watching all that's going on and waiting patiently for you to give her a snuggle :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Elbie is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Hanging out with humans is my favourite thing, so ideally you'll be around a lot of the time! A retiree or someone who works from home might be a purrfect match? I definitely enjoy being stroked and meeting new humans who'll spend ages patting me into a trance :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Pretty low. When I'm feeling frisky I might take a stroll around the house and see what's happening, but naptime is my happy place.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Being so gentle, I'd likely get on with children who'll be gentle in return.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I don't have any experience with other pets yet, but I'm a laid-back sort of girl so I think I'd take it in my stride!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
