About Marley
Hello potential new family!
My name is Marley and I am adorable Aussie Bulldog x French Bulldog, although you could easily mistake me for a little energizer love machine!
I have had a bit of a tough start to my life - I have been thru two homes already and the RSPCA - the rescue has taken me and helped with me my manners and how to dispel some of my energy.
My foster mum says while I am an energy bunny sometimes of the day other times I am a huge sleep bunny - I play hard and sleep harder!
I am a bulldog so of course I have absolutely no concept of personal space but do it all with love in my eyes and heart.
I am with other dogs and absolutely love to play with them and wrestle, and tug of war, and play.
I have been learning my manners - and while some days I am great it's a work in progress and would love a family who would love to work with me and continue my training.
I would also need a family that understand that I do need to play and use some of my energy as I'm still young and life is great.
I have been with kids, and they don't bother me and I’m fine with them, I do try my best and my foster mum says I’m still learning to watch my bulldozer strength - I really have the bulldog go thru it not around it trait.
My foster mum says while I can be energetic, I'm a delight to have and one of the kindest sweetest natures she has even seen.
Since being with my foster family, I have learnt that there are some awesome things in life - like sleeping in air conditioning (but that's a must cause of my breed). I love to play and be with my humans and really be a part of a family.
I enjoy good food - my foster mum has said that I will need to always remember that while girls with a bit of meat on their bones is good – too much food can be an issue.
I love to go for a walk and while I do have bulldozer strength I do try and still learning not to pull on the lead. I will warn you now, I do love to stop and say hello to anyone that wants to say hello to me and do get sad when people think cause I’m a bulldog I’m scary – I’m not – my foster mum says I’m just a love bug. I am still learning to ignore other dogs out walking.
I would love to go to a home with another dog - I am currently playing with a French bulldog, a Aussie bulldog x and two dachshunds and I just love the company and the play.
I absolutely love attention and have the typical bulldog approach of if someone else is getting attention I can push my way in and use my bulldog butt to get the attention.
I am good in the car - I will keep you company for hours while you drive, however I do need help getting in especially if you have a car that is not low to the ground – it’s just one small oomph up and I’m all good to go.
I would ideally like a home where there is someone home (shift work, retired, works from home, stay home mum or dad) I’m not fussy just someone I can hang with thru the day – I would be a great secretary sleeping in your office while you work even, but can be in a home where someone is gone for hours on end however would love the company of another dog.
I am house trained and know how to use the doggy door.
I am not tested on cats and my foster mum believes I would try and make friends with them and probably annoy them, or I would chase cause it would be fun!
My foster mum says I also have this canny ability to know when she’s trying to take photos of me so I will turn and show her my bulldog butt!

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
