About Timothy - Located in Northcote
Greetings, dear friends. My name is Timothy, and I am delighted to make your acquaintance. Allow me to introduce myself as a humble and gentle soul, whose maturity often surprises those around me.
As you can see, I am adorned with striking stripes upon my back, a feature that adds to my already charming appearance. But do not let my youthful countenance fool you; within me lies a sense of calm and composure that belies my tender age.
I possess a curious nature, always eager to explore the world around me with a sense of wonder and intrigue. Yet, despite my inquisitive tendencies, I maintain a serene and composed demeanor, never allowing myself to be overwhelmed by the excitement of discovery.
My personality is a blend of playfulness and tranquility, a unique combination that sets me apart from my peers. I find joy in simple pleasures, whether it be chasing after a toy or basking in the warmth of a sunbeam filtering through the window.
If you are seeking a feline companion with a calm and thoughtful presence, look no further than myself, Timothy. My striking stripes and gentle nature make me the perfect addition to any home, where I can bring a sense of peace and serenity to your life.
I eagerly await the opportunity to become a cherished member of your family, offering my quiet companionship and unwavering affection. Shall we embark on this journey together?

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
