About Piggy Azalea
Meet Piggy Azalea ,
Piggy Azalea is looking for a home with a family who is patient and kind. Someone who will show her that humans are friends.
She would love to find an owner who will welcome & allow her to be a part of their family. Piggy Azalea is quiet, and allows handling & being picked up. She is sweet & overall a happy girl.
It's important to note that guinea pigs are often curious & cautious by nature & they often rely on companionship with another guinea pig to feel happy & safe - so it's ideal that she go home with her sister Piggy Pop, or go to a home with a pre-existing guinea pig/s.
She will need a safe & secure hutch. Somewhere out of the sun with plenty of shade. A place that is comfortable & cool for the warmer months, & warm & cozy for the cooler months.
Piggy Azalea will need access to fresh clean water, an assortment of toys to chew on & play with and fresh food daily.
Can you open your heart and home to a shy little pig like Piggy Azalea?
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask if that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
