About Noodle
I'm not lying when I tell you that Noodle is the best boy!
He's a typical whippet in every way. He spends most of his time sleeping somewhere comfy. He loves to play, and get the zoomies, but usually this twenty minutes of fun leaves him pretty tired and he's ready to go back to napping.
He loves other dogs! He thinks they're the best thing ever, and he is great with dogs of all sizes.
Noodle currently lives with cats, and he doesn't seem to mind them. He does get excited and want to greet them, but usually loses interest quickly. I believe he would do well in a home with a resident cat, if his new parents had the patience to help him understand that cats usually don't want to play as much as he does!
Noodle tolerates grooming really well! He's great in the bath but his favourite part is being brushed. He gets a zoom groom every day and he loves it.
Noodle loves his crate and happily sleeps in it every night.
Noodle is a dream to walk on lead, IF he is wearing his special harness, but don't worry, this will come with him to his new home!
Though Noodle doesn't have any bad habits, he would benefit from some ongoing training so he stays that way and keep him enriched.
Noodle just turned one, so he's still a young boy. He would do great in a family with a pre-existing dog to play with(extra points if it's another sighthound!), or as a solo dog where he can accompany you on all your adventures.
Noodle is located in Carrum Downs and is excited to meet someone he can cuddle with forever!
Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
