About Dumpling
Are you seeking a furry friend who understands the art of balance between independence and affection? Look no further than Dumpling! This charming boy is looking for a calm and loving forever home where he can be his true self.
Dumpling thrives in a quiet environment. If you've had experience with cats before and understand their needs, Dumpling could be the perfect addition to your family. His ideal home is one where he can have his own space to relax and decompress when needed.
Dumpling is open to meeting children aged 10 years and up, or those who can understand his cues for some alone time. While he enjoys the company of respectful kids, he also appreciates having his personal space respected.
Dumpling is quite scared of dogs, so he's looking for a dog-free household. He also prefers being the sole feline king where he can rule the roost as the only cat in your home.
The great outdoors is no exception, he'll thrive as an indoor-only cat, where he can feel safe and secure.
This big boy has low energy needs and isn't particularly interested in toys. He enjoys doing his own thing or lounging next to you while you go about your day. His mellow demeanour makes him an excellent companion for relaxed evenings at home.
Dumpling is a gentle soul who may appear slightly nervous or shy at first. However, with patience and understanding, he'll warm up to you and show his affectionate side.
Dumpling is quite the foodie! He enjoys dry food, and the occasional Crunchers or Greenies treats. You can win his heart through his stomach & don’t forget those neck scratches.
If you're ready to welcome a gentle, affectionate, and slightly reserved companion into your home, Dumpling is eagerly awaiting your love and affection.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask if that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
