About Lexie
Meet Lexie, the purrfect companion for your calm and quiet household! Lexie is a sweet and gentle girl who is eagerly awaiting her forever home with first-time cat owners who understand her unique needs.
Lexie is a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to her environment. She thrives in a serene atmosphere and would be best suited to a home without the hustle and bustle of dogs or young children. While she's open to meeting kids from 10 years and up, Lexie does prefer gentle handling and a peaceful setting. Loud noises and rough handling make her feel a bit uneasy.
However, don't let her preference for tranquillity fool you—Lexie is a playful and affectionate feline friend! She enjoys soft toys and loves to knead her bed with contentment. When it comes to mealtime, Lexie is an enthusiastic eater who adores all kinds of food, especially Greenie treats.
Lexie is not just a quiet observer; she loves to engage in conversation and will happily chat with you about her day. She's a vocal and chatty companion who enjoys interacting with her human friends.
When it comes to affection, Lexie is all in! She loves being picked up and cuddled, and she'll melt under your touch with head pats and chin scratches. Plus, she's a clean girl who always uses her litter tray, making her a low-maintenance addition to your home.
While Lexie enjoys the occasional play session, her energy needs are moderate, making her an excellent match for a variety of lifestyles. She would be happiest as an indoor-only cat with supervised outdoor visits to ensure her safety.
Lexie's dream home would include a patient and loving family who will respect her boundaries and provide her with plenty of love and attention. If you're ready to welcome this affectionate and charming girl into your heart, Lexie can't wait to meet you!
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask if that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
