About Jinx
🖤 Jinx is searching for her forever home! 🖤
We know that black cats are the least likely to be adopted, and well, a black cat with a disability? Surely she’s Jinxed! Right?
Jinx was dumped in a park and was living in thorny bushes that gave her cuts and scrapes all over. She was likely left there because of her limp. Her owner probably thought it was going to be expensive.
It wasn’t.
Jinx is a happy and healthy girl whose back leg works a little slower than the rest! That’s it. No injury. No breaks. No soft tissue damage. Just a connection issue with the brain.
Jinx is a radiant little black kitten that will colour your life with joy. Despite her unique stride, Jinx is lively, fun, strong, and an absolute pleasure to be around. She carries an undeniably enchanting charm with her wherever she goes. Jinx doesn't let her slow back leg hold her back. Make no mistake, she can zip and zag, climb and pounce, just like any other cat.
This playful young feline loves bouncing around with other playful cats or even athletically inclined dogs. She is incredibly confident around humans and pets alike, making her a wonderful addition to households with gentle animals. A playful spirit, Jinx would do well in a home with older children, who appreciate her zest and understand her unique needs.
Beyond her energetic game-play, Jinx loves to snuggle up to her human companions. Whether on the couch for a quiet tv night, or on the bed for a good night's sleep, Jinx loves to be near you. Whenever you're around for a cuddle, she'll make sure you know she's available for one.
Jinx is a healthy young kitten, desexed, microchipped, 1st vaccinated and up-to-date with flea, and worm treatments. She is ready for her new family to welcome her. If you're looking for a loving, energetic, and uniquely charming kitten to add to your family, Jinx is your ideal choice. Don't overlook her – she's just as swift, fast, and loyal as any other cat.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
