About Immy
Chi x Maltese x (something else lol) she is a small/med size dog
Meet our gorgeous little girl “Immy”
Immy is a little firecracker, she is totally cute, mischievous, and funny. She loves to run and play, totally loves people, and enjoys all forms of attention, pats and cuddles.
Immy is a clever girl and is treat motivated so will learn quickly with rewards. She already knows commands such as sit, down, and wait, she is crate trained and toilet trained. We are looking for a family that will be committed to bringing the best out of Immy by providing activities such as agility or other dog sports, maybe even someone that would be interested in looking at TV/commercials etc as she is exactly what agencies are crying out for. Regardless of activity you will need to provide a fun life for Immy so let us know your plans.
Immy likes to play with other dogs, and is a great dog around kids. She likes to play with toys, especially when it’s with her people.
It is a condition in our adoption agreement that all our dogs are to be taken through obedience training to ensure they reach their full potential.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a large secure yard.
• Immy will not be alone for more than 5hrs
• You will enrol Immy in obedience training.
• You will allow Immy to be part of the family and will allow her access to indoors with you.
• You WILL provide her with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please provide the name of the obedience club you will be taking Immy to.
PLEAS NOTE: if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
