About Kora - Located in Coburg
Meet Kora, a gem of a cat who possesses a charming blend of energy, sociability, and affection. Her playful personality radiates warmth, and her friendly nature makes her beloved to everyone who meets her.
Kora is passionate about life and views the world as her playground. She loves chasing and wrestling with her cat friends, engaging in zoomies, and batting toy mice with enthusiasm around the house. One of the many quirks that add glitter to Kora's endearing charm is how she'll proudly carry a toy in her mouth and offer it to you as a 'gift'. She's not just playful, she's considerate too!
When she's not zooming around the house, Kora loves to curl up into a little ball on the couch, napping by your side. She craves companionship and isn't shy to purr and rub against you affectionately, asking politely for more chin scratches and pats.
Kora would thrive best in a household that can provide ample playtime, attention, and plenty of toys. She coexists harmoniously with confident cats, capable of keeping up with her 'rough and tumble' style of play. Kora would also be just as comfortable and happy in a home as a solo cat.
If you're seeking an affectionate and social feline who is teeming with life and love, why not consider giving Kora her new home?

Medical notes
Kora came into our care earlier this year after she was found with injuries of which were likely caused from being hit by a car. She suffered from superficial wounds to her head and neck as well as a dislocated hip. Kora's hip luxation unfortunately required surgery as it had been out of position for too long and the bone had become deformed. She received a femoral head and neck excision surgery, with a laser therapy course afterwards to help promote healing and a full return of the use of her hip. She has now completed all of her treatment and is very comfortable with running and jumping.
Kora has developed on one occasion a condition called superficial pyoderma, potentially triggered from stress. During a short period of time Kora started to overgroom herself and cause a few patches of hair loss (they have grown back now). This occurred shortly after joining a new foster care environment and meeting some new cats. The behaviour has now stopped but may require monitoring when moving to a new home.
