About Alaska
Alaska is a 5 year old petite female husky who was kept for two years out in the back yard, with fly strikes eating away at her ears & nothing being done to stop the pain and suffering it was causing her. The vet was going to have to amputate part of her ears but going into foster care and careful treatment on her ears has now healed them completely!
This beautiful girl has blossomed in foster care and is now a loving shadow, following her dads around the house. She sleeps all night and even gives time for dad to have his coffee in the morning before wanting her morning hugs.
She is now looking for her forever family and is ideally looking for an active family who will take her on the walks she is loving with her new found freedom. She loves to stop and say hi to every dog she passes with her tail wagging excitedly. She has mastered walking next to us on short lead and is a pleasure to take out to all the new places she has so far found.
Alaska loves pats and hugs and wants to sit on the couch next to us and watch tv if she is not sleeping on her snoozer at our feet.
Alaska will do well with a secure yard to run around in but also loves to be inside with her hoomans. She is happy to sleep when dad goes shopping and shows no separation anxiety when left alone at home with full run of the house.
Alaska loves children and will make a wonderful addition to the right family.
