About Jackson - Located in Preston
Jackson here, the big, beautiful sleek house panther on the lookout for some love. Yep, that's me—a big sweet sooky boy just waiting for the right humans to come along and show me how cool life can be.
You see, I'm all about learning that people are pretty awesome. They bring the foods, the pats, and all the good stuff that I'm really starting to enjoy. Quietly confident? That's me. I'll saunter around your home, making sure everything's in order and there are no monsters lurking under the bed or blankets. Safety first, you know?
But hey, it's not all serious business with me. I'm all about fun and games too! A good ol' game of chase the laser pointer or a playful tug-of-war with a ribbon on a stick? Count me in! And let's talk about feline friends—I'm cool with them. Having a buddy to hang out with sounds pretty rad, but I'm also more than happy to fly solo and soak up all the love and attention myself.
So, if you're on the hunt for a sweet boy who's got just the right amount of kitten energy but is also totally down to chill out on the couch with you, then look no further. I'm your no muss, no fuss kinda guy, ready to be your purr-fect companion.
Catch you on the chill side,
Jackson 🖤

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
