About Harry
Finally, it’s time to officially unveil the new Harry.
Harry came to us from a rural pond as a 14-week-old pup with a broken leg.
This poor little mite was in such pain, so we immediately arranged for him to have surgery to fix the break and give him the best chance of an active life.
It’s been a slow recovery and so frustrating for such a young pup to be on restricted movement for so many weeks.
His amazing foster mum (s)have got him through the “cruel to be kind” hard yards and it is now finally time to unleash this gorgeous boy into the world.
Harry is a medium sized dog – he is a mixed breed – the pound though Bull terrier mix – we see some Frenchie in him maybe – but who knows?
He is now about 6 months old and weighs 14kg.
Harry thrives on companionship and is always happier when there's someone nearby.
He has weeks of fun and frolics to catch up on so can be a little bit boisterous at the moment.
Once his excitement at being free settles he shows his gentle side indulging in his favourite puddle-loving and grass-rolling activities.
Harry is toilet-trained indoors and behaves impeccably in his crate at night.
His love for cuddles is endless and expect some puppy nibbles and wiggles as his way of showing love and playful excitement.
Much like any young pup, Harry will bark to grab your attention, but he is such a little charmer and has a skill of making all his antics completely endearing.
One of Harry's big interests is collecting sticks, creating an adorable spectacle on walks, which he thoroughly enjoys.
Wildlife generally doesn't tickle his interest, which makes him a great adventure buddy.
When Harry spots something interesting, he takes a moment to sit and observe, showcasing his curious nature.
With social skills that make him comfortable around other dogs, Harry will thrive in a home either with or without other fur buddies.
Despite being unsure about loud noises, he bravely weathered recent storms.
Traveling by car still needs some work though, as he's reluctant to get in and tends to get carsick.
Harry is still learning his manners, but he's a smart boy with a beautiful nature who's good around children.
Overall, Harry is a gorgeous lad who's eager to find a loving home with someone who can be there for him.
He's great company and will make a wonderful addition to any family.
Harry is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and is up to date with his flea and worm treatments.
He is in foster care at Bribie Island and his adoption fee is $600.
If you think you could be a perfect match to this special little man, please send us a message telling us all about yourself and the wonderful life you could share together.
