About Parker - 12 Week Old Border Collie X (Trial)
Parker is one of our all time favourite puppies! He is such an intelligent, sweet natured little boy who just wants to please. He is a happy pup who loves a good walk and then is happy to play quietly with his toys inside, or snuggle calmly on your lap.
He is a fast learner and is well on his way to being toilet trained. He loves company and would love to have an older dog to play with or a human he can follow around. He loves kids and would make an excellent addition to any family (with children 5 years and up).
Parker is a calm and intelligent puppy that just wants to please. He will be an active dog but he is also very happy to sit quietly on your lap for cuddles.
Parker is a very healthy pup who has been raised in a home environment. He has been well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs and gets on with them all. He has met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Parker will grow into a medium dog. We always recommend puppy training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affectionate, exercise and training. Parker is a smart little boy and will be easy to train.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion, and playmate for Parker. If you don’t have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn’t work fulltime.
Parker needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can’t go to rural fencing (e.g. mesh or wire).
Parker's adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Parker is in foster care in Pokolbin, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.
