About Mimi - 7 Month Old Maltese X Poodle (Trial)
Mimi is a precious 7 month old pup in search of her forever home where she can receive the tender care and attention she deserves. This darling girl is still finding her footing in the world, so she's looking for a canine companion to help her gain confidence and show her the ropes.
Mimi absolutely adores her soft toys and enjoys snuggling up in her own cozy bed. While she's house trained, she may have accidents indoors if she feels anxious about going outside. However, she's making strides with using a doggy door and is learning quickly.
Mimi loves to be by your side and will follow you everywhere, but she prefers to initiate affection on her own terms. She's still building trust, especially with men, so a patient and understanding family would be perfect for her.
This sweet girl enjoys outings to the dog park and is gradually becoming more comfortable with car rides. While she's not a fan of being crated, she'll tolerate it if necessary. Mimi is also not much of a barker and would do well in a home with older children who can respect her need for gentle interactions.
If you're ready to welcome Mimi into your heart and home, she's eagerly waiting to meet you! Let's give her the love and support she needs to thrive.
To register your interest in adopting Mimi you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au or www.petrescue.com.au
Mimi is in foster care in Maryland, NSW area. They are NOT currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $700.00 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.
This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
