About Finley - Located in Doreen
Hey there, potential cuddle buddy! The name's Finley, and let me tell you, I'm the cat you've been searching for. Handsome, loving, playful, and smoochy—I've got it all, baby!
Now, let's talk about my favorite pastime: sneak attacks and wrestling! I live for those moments when I can pounce on my unsuspecting siblings (cat or human) and wrestle them to the ground like a pro wrestler in the ring. But don't worry, it's all in good fun! I'm just showing off my impressive moves and making sure everyone knows who's the boss around here.
Speaking of siblings, I'd love to find a home where I can continue my wrestling adventures with one of them or a friendly resident cat who can keep up with my antics. It's all about finding that perfect sparring partner, you know?
But don't let my tough exterior fool you—I've got a soft side too! Once the WWE match is over and the arena clears out, you can find me curled up on your lap or chest, purring up a storm and soaking up all the love and affection you have to offer. I've got an off switch, you see, and when it's time to relax, there's nothing I love more than snuggling up with my favorite human.
So, if you're looking for a furry companion who's equal parts fun and affectionate, look no further. I'm here, ready to be your loyal sidekick and partner in crime. With me by your side, every day will be filled with laughter, love, and maybe even a little bit of wrestling. Are you ready to rumble?

Medical notes
WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
