About Jinx - Located in Doreen
Hey there, I'm Jinx, the confident little charmer who's ready to rock your world! I'm all about cuddles and close encounters—whether that's cozying up in your arms or casually draping myself across the back of your neck for a snuggle. I'm here for it all!
But don't let my suave side fool you—I live for the action, too! Give me a partner in crime, whether it's one of my sisters or another feline friend, and we'll tear through the house like a couple of bandits on a mission. After a day of wild adventures, there's nothing better than crashing out next to my buddy for a well-earned catnap.
So, here's the deal: I would love a home with a sidekick, someone to keep me company on all our epic quests. Trust me, we'll make quite the duo. If you've got the right setup, we're gonna get along just fine.
Ready to welcome a little spark of mischief into your life? Let's do this!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
