Meet super Sadie! Sadie came into RSPCA care with a badly fractured leg. The incredible vet team at the shelter have done orthopaedic surgery to save this energetic pups precious leg, and she is now well on her way to recovery ❤️‍🩹
Sadie's adopter will need to be onboard for the final weeks of rehabilitation with her to ensure the best results from the fracture repair. Our vet team will provide support to Sadie's adopter in the weeks following adoption to help with this rehabilitation process.
Sadie is open to a home with dog-savvy kids, but would ideally suit no cats in the home. While she may be ok with another social dog, she is still requiring rest in a small space and can't have off-lead exercise quite yet, so any existing dogs would need to be able to be kept separate from Sadie until her leg is completely healed. Because of the need for confinement during her recovery, Sadie does need plenty of mental stimulation to keep her busy mind occupied.
