Tipping the scales at 40kgs, Oliver Kevin is a very easy-going gentle and well-behaved companion who is not only toilet trained, he is cat friendly and also exudes love. With a charming personality, he brings a perfect blend of maturity and affection into any home. Whilst he is a shy boy and may take time to warm up to you, when he does he is ready to be your loyal and loving companion.

He loves showing you his toys (especially his giant hotdog!), and loves a good tug-of-war, catch and fetch. Make sure you have a good supply of old socks because it is unusual to see him without a sock in his mouth, but he is not at all interested in shoes!

He is very happy with a slow walk daily but is not fussed if he misses one (although his waistline might argue!). He loves pats and once he feels safe, he loves a cuddle too! He would suit a family with mature children or just hang out with adults, he loves his humans and will follow you around all day (no more lonely times on the toilet!) but is fine to be left alone inside for several hours. Although he is a large dog, he is very gentle and would be the perfect addition to someone who is retired and looking for a quiet and chilled companion.

He loves his pats and sitting with you on the couch and is slowly warming up to full hugs. He doesn't like loud noises or voices and can panic at sudden movements. You will need to have patience while he gets to know and trust you, but once he settles in, he is an absolute delight and will reward you ten-fold with his companionship.
