Hi - my name is John Goodboy and I am just the best. My foster family think I am super smart and should be called teddy bear instead as I spend a lot of time at their feet asking for belly rubs.

I am not very interested in soft toys but I would like to spend lots of time with you catching tennis balls. It's one of my favourite things.

Because I am a big softy I will need some time to adjust to your lifestyle. When I first came to my foster family I was anxious about being left alone but they taught me that it was ok and now I know exactly where to lie to see them go out and they always return - so I am used to that now and it took me less than two weeks to understand!

In my new home, I would really like to be part of the family and would be suited to a couple or family with older teenage children. I am a big gentle giant and smaller humans might be scared of me because of my size.

In my foster home, I am super relaxed and you can take me to your friends' houses and I will spend around 15 minutes sniffing and exploring my new environment and then I will plonk down or find a tennis ball to have fun. Also, when guests come to my foster home, I like to say a gentle hello...and I also expect belly rubs from them too.

I love a big back yard and at my foster home there is so much going on - I was very excited by bunnies and kangaroos and have even met an echidna! I am used to them now and we all get on very well.

I can get very excited in new environments but my foster family have taught me some manners but I will need my new family to keep me on track as there's just so much to sniff and explore! I have been staying with them to recover from surgery, but now I have been given all clear they are going to take me to new places for longer walks so I can learn even more.

I would prefer to be the only doggo in the home, and certainly would not like to share with felines. I hear they hog ALL of the attention!!
