About Daphne
Meet Daphne, a sweet 2-year-old Dachshund who is just waiting for the ideal family to come along. Daphne might possess a dash of shyness, but once she warms up to you, she happily reveals her true obedient and friendly nature.
Daphne is a petite little girl who gets along well with other small breeds, making her an ideal friend for any resident pooches of similar stature. Also, she possesses an active curiosity for cats - while she might bark, she has yet to pursue them in a chase. It's more a chatty way of saying hello, and perhaps an invitation to play!
Daphne is quite versatile: she enjoys both quiet, calm environments and fun, active outings. She appreciates all sorts of affection but particularly enjoys gentle pats and belly rubs.
With reassurance and love, Daphne will continue to come out of her shell and fully embrace her new family. She is looking forward to beginning this next chapter in her life and finding her new family, preferably one that can provide ongoing love, care, and a whole lot of cuddles. If you're someone who cherishes the small things in life, you might just find that Daphne is the perfect companion for you.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
