About Daisy
Meet Daisy, a lively and intelligent German Shepherd x Kelpie mix, brimming with energy and playfulness. She is happiest when frolicking outdoors, exploring new surroundings, and chasing after her favourite toys.
In foster, Daisy is making great strides in her socialization and training. She is fearless and curious, approaching new experiences with enthusiasm, showing no signs of timidity.
Given her Border Collie x Kelpie heritage, Daisy thrives in environments with ample space to run and play. A backyard would be the perfect playground for her to expend her boundless energy. However, her new family should be aware that Daisy will require ongoing stimulation and training to ensure she continues to grow into a well-rounded companion. She will thrive with switched-on and dog-savvy individuals who are committed to continuing her education.
Daisy would love to live with another dog who could keep up with her playful antics. She has a natural intelligence and working dog drive which would make her a perfect candidate for dog sports in the future.
She would love the opportunity to channel her energy and enthusiasm into activities like agility or obedience competitions, scent work and even search and rescue. With the right guidance and support, Daisy is sure to excel in any endeavor she pursues.
She's also a massive snuggle bug and loves being with her people, she's been a dream to have in care and we know her new family will love her just as much as we all do!
LOCATION: FOSTER CARE **Application Process** If you are interested in this pet and ready to adopt now, please send in an application to the SCAR Adoption Team. On the Pet Rescue profile, push the "Enquire About This Pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please tell us all about you and your home. Ensure you tell us about anything specific that you feel makes you a great match for this particular pet, or if you have specific requirements for a pet coming in to your home. Please note the following: We do not take applications for animals over the phone, as we are a small team and are trying our best to be fair to all applicants while creating the best outcomes for our animals. We aim to reply to all applications within 7 business days, and will confirm with all applicants once we have an adoption meet booked for the animal. All of our meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn, and all going well you will take home your pet on the day of the meet. The majority of our animals are in a foster home, not at the shelter, so you need to apply via the website to meet them.
