About Sophie
Introducing Sophie! Don’t let Sophie's timidness fool you; once she trusts you, her sweet, gentle nature shines through. As a female Jack Russell Terrier of just ten months, she's still navigating the world around her, and she needs a patient and understanding new family to guide her on this journey.
Sophie is quite the character once she becomes comfortable. Despite being quiet and initially shy, with a bit of patience, time, and understanding, you'll soon be graced by a spirited, loyal, and amazingly fun little companion.
Sophie is often reserved around other animals but takes comfort from their quiet presence, especially with smaller dogs. While she seems slightly frightened of cats, this may be due to her lack of exposure, and over time, Sophie may learn to coexist peacefully with a feline friend.
With her endearing qualities and sweet temperament, Sophie is capable of offering an immeasurable amount of joy, love, and light to any household lucky enough to call her their own. She's an excellent fit for those seeking an uncomplicated, companionable pet. A quiet home with a backyard for her to explore would be ideal for her needs.
Be prepared for plenty of joy and laughter with Sophie around. With her youthful energy and curious spirit, she'll surely turn any dull day into a delightful adventure. Come meet this lovely girl today! She's ready to meet her new family and start a life filled with love and trust.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
