About Penny - 12 Week Old Border Collie X (Trial)
Penny is a beautiful eight-week-old female Border Collie X puppy.
She is a very intelligent little pup and loves to please. She is a snuggle bug and her favourite thing to do is to sit quietly on your lap and lap up the attention.
Penny is a very healthy pup who has been raised in a home environment. She has been well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs and gets on with them all. She has met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Penny will grow in to a medium to large dog. We always recommend puppy training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affectionate, exercise and training. Penny will be easy to train because she is so smart and eager to learn.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion, and playmate for Penny. If you don’t have another dog to keep her company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn’t work fulltime.
Penny needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can’t go to rural fencing (e.g. mesh or wire).
Penny’s siblings, Parker and Paddy are also available for adoption.
Penny's adoption fee is $700 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Penny is in foster care in Pokolbin, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
