About Gus
Introducing our jolly and goofy boy Gus!
This funny little guy can take a bit of time to warm up but the shelter is a scary place so it's pretty fair that he isn't his best self right now.
Gus will need some help from his new adopter/s along with a lot of patience and love. Initially, he will need to take new introductions to people and other dogs at a slow pace until he has built a positive and strong relationship. Once he has built that relationship with you he will adore you until the end of time.
Gus will need to go to an Adults-Only household and be the only fur baby at home so he can live in peace and harmony with his human pawrents.
He has told us that he cannot be in a home with cats and Gus would much rather have human attention over anything else so it is important that his adoptive family fully understand this and can manage this with him.
Gus loves his soft toys and will paw at you for attention and a cuddle once he is fully comfortable with you, he is absolutely worth it.
He would much prefer his new family to be home more often than not as he can get a little nervous when left alone but the staff at LDH can give you tips and tricks on how to manage this.
This handsome man has some dental issues that the amazing vet team at LDH will explain to you when you come in to meet him.
