About Walter
Walter is the sweetest boy who absolutely loves all humans like he's known them forever! He's the happiest dog and always full of energy and just wants to be with his humans.
Whilst he grew up as an outdoor dog I have absolutely no doubt that he'd much prefer to be welcomed inside to be part of the pack! He looks on at you with the biggest sad eyes when you leave him 😂
However, he is used to being on his own throughout the day and is happy entertaining himself if he has some toys to chew on and he will happily lay in the sun.
Walters absolute favourite thing is his ball! He LOVES his ball so much and will play endlessly without getting sick of it! He wants you to throw his ball but not take his ball!! It's all part of his game :D if you pretend to throw it, he will "stalk" you and it is hilarious!! He would love a huge backyard with a family happy to spend time with him throwing balls!
He's definitely a high energy boy and also really enjoys getting out for a big walk! He would love to go fast and run if only humans were faster!! 😂 he's also quite the snuggle bug!! He will lay on you and think he can fit on your lap like a cat and if you stop rubbing or petting him he will look up at you like you've committed a crime against him 😂
Walter would really thrive with an active family who make him part of their family and involve him in all their activities and have the backyard space for him to play and run around! He would need some adjusting to indoor/outdoor life but i think he will adjust just fine in time.
His foster mum is currently working on all things training to get him up to speed with indoor life, basic commands, leash training and more to ensure Walter is the best boy that he can be for his forever home and forever family!
He is not a fan of cats and is untested with small dogs.
