About Jake
Jake would like his new home to have:
- Must have a similar size and age female desexed doggie friend living permanently in the home to keep him company when his people are busy.
-A good sized secure yard, although Jake is 6 this is still youngish for a Jack Russell and he has a good amount of energy for plays and zooms in the yard.
- People willing and able to give him loads of attention and exercise.
- To live an inside/outside life, so he can be inside when you are and with you when you're outside.
- to be allowed on the furniture and to sleep in your room preferable on your bed.
- Slow introductions to new dogs.
Jake is a snuggle bug with his people but still enjoys playing with his doggy friends with sqeeky toys. Jake is great with anyone he meets, and wants all the love and affection anyone is willing to give him.
Jake loves trips in the car and it’s another great excuse to be with his people while they run their errands. Jake enjoys going for a walk and is good on the lead but can pull a little at times. Jake is a good boy and will go off and lay down while his people are eating at the table. Jake will need regular access to outside and reminders to toilet outside, he enjoys you coming outside with him. I bet you can guess where Jake likes to sleep, yep, you guessed it, right next to you whether that be on the couch during the day or on your bed of a night.
Jake is quite laid back around other dogs his size and his main aim in life is to get as much attention from his people as they are willing to give.
The breed is to the best of our knowledge from the information we've been given.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
