About Peach - Located in Preston
Hello there, potential forever friend! Peach here, and yes, my name matches my fabulous fur and flawless complexion.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. First and foremost, I am drop-dead gorgeous, with a peaches and cream complexion that will make your heart skip a beat. Seriously, get ready to swoon!
I'm not just a pretty face, though. I'm also a sweet and friendly girl who will greet you at the door by twirling my gorgeous, floofy tail around your legs. Oh, and did I mention my purr? It's louder than a freight train, so if you plan on watching TV, make sure it's turned up nice and loud!
Now, let's talk ground rules. I have a very important one: I choose people over other cats and dogs. That's right, I'm a one-and-only kind of kitty. I don't want to share my human with anyone else, not even my own offspring. Speaking of which, I'm a young girl who's done with raising my babies, but I still have plenty of kitten energy to burn. So, if you're up for some playtime followed by a cozy cuddle session on the couch, I'm your gal!
So, what do you say? Are you ready to welcome a fabulous feline like me into your home? I promise, with me around, there will never be a dull moment!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
