My name is Nugget and although I am small, I am a pretty independent guy who knows what he likes.

When I came into foster care I was very flighty and didn't cope with the big dogs at my Foster Mum's. So I had a move to another home. Lots of small dogs coming and going here. I like to be the one to show them around and let the others know it is my job.

When there are too many dogs here I find my quiet places, by myself under the bushes in the garden in the cool. I don't like lots of sudden noises - I find them scary.

I love food and I am not fussy, except no biscuits or lumps in my food. I am crate trained at night but like to try out other dog beds at my Foster Mum's. I can get possessive with my food and my bed. That is because I love having it all for me ❤️.

I am a good watch dog but don't carry on unnecessarily. I do love to sleep a lot.

Note from Nugget's foster Mum:
I use a crate to take Nugget in the car. Nugget was clipped recently and the groomer used a muzzle. She said he was so good. He was a bit sensitive near his feet and when she went to put his collar on. Overall, Nugget is a very sweet little dog with a big personality. Love him heaps.
