About Spot
Spot was born in foster care after his mother was left at the pound pregnant. His dad is unknown. He has been fostered for the last 7 months in a caring and dog experienced home but he now needs his forever home. His early exposure to kids, a cat, and a big dog has made him a friendly and adaptable companion.
Spot has had early neurological stimulation and scent introduction exercises. He is toilet trained, an indoor dog that accesses outdoors through a doggy door.
Spot is a big lovable goofball who needs a bit of a firm hand so would suit an experienced dog owner. He is food motivated and will do anything for a treat and belly rub. He would suit a family with older children due to his size and excitability.
He is a bit nervous of new people and dogs and will need to continue his socialisation. He is happy to nap in an open crate so training him wouldn't be hard if that's your preference.
Despite his adventurous spirit, Spot loves winding down with cuddles and belly rubs. He has been waiting 8 months to have a family and home of his own.
