About Malakai
This is Malakai and his being in care for one year this August and is one complicated guy with a very bad case of single kitten syndrome.
Being emotionally stable is not his diary and he is on anti depressants to help with his stress levels and stop him from fur pulling. They seem to be balancing him at the moment, but we can't completely remove the stress causes from his environment while his in care.
He needs a home as the only cat as he doesn't cope with them and lashes out and pulls his fur. He doesn't handle change very well either.
Malakai would be great for a quiet household with no other animals where he can be couch potato and get the zoomies occasionally.
Malakai is a huge chubby boy who loves snoozing in strange yoga positions and the occasionally pat. He is always affectionately rubbing up against things and is very chatty and friendly.
He had a dual entropian surgery for rolled in eye lashes at the start of the year and you can hardly tell there was ever an issue.
He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and FIV tested.
Transport can be arranged around QLD.
Would you like to adopt Malakai?
He can be very relatable sometimes. 😆
Medical notes
Malakai recently had an entropian surgery to correct some hair that was rolling into his eyes causing irritation.
He also will pull out his fur when he becomes stressed in multi cat and dog home environments.
Adoption details
All our cats and kittens come desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite treated. Our adult cats and high risk kittens are tested for FIV/FELV.
Kittens come home to you around 12 to 13 weeks after being desexed if they are of appropriate weight and health at that time.
All our cats require indoor only homes for their safety and to protect the wildlife. An outdoor enclosure can be a safe way for your cat to experience the outdoors.
We have a number of transport services that can bring your new baby to you around QLD so distance is not an issue.
We do our best to make sure every cat gets the best home they can, but we have a life time returns policy for our adopted babies should they ever find themselves in trouble.
