About Maxy - 4 Year Old Pug (Trial)
Here’s Maxy! A 4 year old pug who has heaps of spunk and loves being around people. Maxy is a pretty chilled and a low maintenance chap, who likes going for daily strolls and hanging out with his human companions. He will take a little time to come around and show you his full character, but once he does he will be the ultimate sidekick.
Maxy just really loves people, so we think he would really enjoy life as an only dog soaking up all the attention! He would love someone home at least part time. Maxy needs to be welcome inside the home and sleep indoors, and he will pretty much hang by your side all day.
Like all dogs, Maxy has his own little quirks. He does tend to like to let people know he is there when they go past the house, so living on a busy road or in an apartment probably won’t suit him. He might be a bit wary of unknown men entering the house and yard at first.
Maxy has lived with other dogs all his life and gets on well with most dogs, although in the home he can be a bit protective when it comes to food.
He is great with kids and been around them all his life, however can get a little jumpy when he gets excited so if his forever home has kids, 8 years and above would be best. He is untested with cats.
Maxy is toilet trained and knows how to use a doggy door, however his recall needs a little work, if you really want his attention a treat will always do the trick!
Maxy is a fantastic little man who will be a great companion. He is in foster care in the Newcastle area and is available for adoption in NSW.
He is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped; his adoption fee is $700.
