About Posie
Posie, an eight month old German Shepherd whose owner is looking for a new home for due to a new Real Estate agent saying they can't keep her. She is a gentle girl who is great with older children and is living with two cats.
Posie is house trained and is able to be walked on a harness, although she prefers to be in the house or garden.
She is looking for a home that are ready to take her in and continue with her training and socialisation
If you understand the nature of a German Shepherd, have recently owned this breed, and are looking for a companion dog then please consider Posie.
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet Posie. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
If you think you can give her a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Posie".
Medical notes
Posie is microchipped. She will be desexed at twelve months of age as recommended by our vets.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
