About Wish
Hiya! My name is Wish, I’m a stunning and fluffy 18 month old border collie x kelpie girl! Foster Mum says I am sweet and full of life!
I had a pretty rough start to life, and while I still find some new things and situations scary at first, I’m very resilient and am making up for all that lost time.
I just love life on the farm and running and playing with the other dogs. Zooming around and having a swim are my favourite things! I love our daily walks and enjoy rides on the ute checking up on things. Pats from my trusted human are nice too. I’m not interested in or bothered by the small humans here.
I’ve been working on my basic manners and training and my recall is pretty good now, I walk ok on the lead but can still be a bit unsure at times. I’m crate trained and sleep quietly over night, and I wait patiently for my food or treats! I’ve only lived as an outside dog so far.
I am looking for a home on acres or a farm, or a very quiet area. I’ve only ever lived rurally and bustling life would be too much for me at the moment. I need confident owners experienced with working breeds, who will continue on building my confidence and training me. Doggy pals would be great, however foster mum says I may also do ok with as an only dog if my owners are committed and around most of the day.
I was allegedly bred to work cattle. I have been tested on sheep and while keen, have too much bite for sheep.
If you think we could be right for each other, then apply today!
Love and licks

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
