Freya was found on the streets of the Sunshine Coast moving between houses where locals were feeding her. One of our foster carers was able to get her in a crate and take her to the vet with no microchip the rescue advertised to find her family but after many weeks to no avail she is now settling into life at her foster carers home under the care of Silver Linings.
Freya was so tired when we found her she slept for four days only waking up to eat and use the toilet.
She has been super friendly and affectionate from day one allowing her foster mum and her kids to pat and pick her up.
She is slowly gaining confidence everyday her safe place is currently in her foster mums bedroom but every day she is slowly investing more of the house.
She is currently sharing the home with other cats at the moment she is co exisiting with them. She is ok being near them and in the same room with them and is slowly feeling confident to eat them as well.
She just isn’t sure what to do when they try and engage her with play. We are confident with time she will be doing zoomies with the rest of them.
If you are interested in giving this beautiful girl a loving home she deserves please get in touch.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
