About Judy
Judy is a very sweet and loving lilac and tan British bulldog. She adores everyone and is a quietly confidant girl. She know how to be gentle and is just a darling.
She gets along very well with other dogs, cats, children and people. So far we are having trouble finding fault with her- shes darn near perfect.
Medical notes
Judy has had an eye removed as she suffered dry eye and it was very painful. She had also had entropion surgery on her remaining eye so the furred skin doesn’t rub on the eyeball.
We have also desexed her and provided 5/5 Boas surgery.
Judy has some allergies, we are uncertain how bad they are - it was the reason she was surrendered but we haven’t found them too bad. She’s on a hypoallergenic diet and we’ve started her on cytopoint but we are uncertain that she will need them long term.
She is a brachycephalic breed. All suffer from BOAS in some way, either minor or severe. They are always at risk of boas ( brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome)becoming clinical- creating difficulty breathing. We expect you to have a complete understanding of the condition and discuss the potential surgical, environmental and medical modifications you may have to do for this condition with your vet before you apply for this dog. It is also a excellent idea to take advantage of the trial period to have your vet check over the dog and give you more pointers on this breed related issue and the expectations for their care and management.
