About Charlie π
Woof, hello there! π
I'm Charlie, a wonderful 9.5-year-old pug on the lookout for my forever family. Let me tell you a bit about myself! π€
I'm a big sweetie who thrives on being close to my humans. I love following them around the house and soaking up all the love and attention I can get. My ideal day includes two short walks, about 10-15 minutes each, as part of my weight loss journey. I'm quite the explorer during these strolls, taking my time to sniff all the interesting bushes along the way π
I've been on a health kick, shedding over 1.5kg already, but there's a bit more work to do. Despite my age, I'm a backyard enthusiast, finding joy in exploring and even taking myself out to do my business. No accidents inside β I'm a well-behaved fella!
Now, about my vision (dry eye) β it's not what it used to be, and I may bump into things occasionally. But hey, that doesn't stop me! I adapt well, and all I need is a home with clear paths and maybe a lower set house to make my navigation a breeze. Don't worry too much about my eyes; I'm on daily drops to keep them nice and moist. This will need to be continued for the rest of my life...βοΈ
Recently, I had a major dental makeover β 16 teeth lighter, and now I've got the sparkliest, cleanest teeth and the freshest breath in town. Ready for some up-close cuddle sessions on the couch! π¦·
Speaking of cuddles, I absolutely adore ear scratches and cosy moments on the sofa. I'd thrive in a home where my humans are around often, providing the companionship I need. And if there's another small desexed dog around, that would be fantastic β a buddy to share my space with.
So, if you're on the lookout for a seasoned companion who's ready to share his love and joy in his golden years, look no further! π‘
I'm Charlie, and I can't wait to bring warmth and happiness to your home. Let's make some beautiful memories together! Woof! πΎ
Medical notes
Charlie suffers from dry eye. Due to this, his sight isn't the greatest anymore but he can manage well and the condition (dry eye) (even though not fixable) is very manageable. The special eyedrops cost about $80-100 for 3 months.
