About Whitney

Whitney's definitely a diva who thrives on attention, but she's also a total sweetheart who'll always love you!
This whirlwind of fun and energy enjoys inventing games with her favourite toys, rumbling with the other cats in her foster home, climbing all over the jungle gym - and finally crawling into your lap for a snooze :)
She's quite a foodie too - always letting you know when it's meal time!
Sociable, curious and friendly, Whitney has a huge purr and an even bigger heart. She currently lives with another young male kitten, and we think she'd do well in a home with other cats and cat-loving kids!
Like all Maggie's pets, Whitney is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Though I'm happy to entertain myself while you're out at work, my purrfect home would be with a wonderful person, couple or family who'll dedicate time to playing and snuggling with me when they're at home! A calm environment without too much noise or fuss would suit me best. And I'd really love another nice cat to bond with :)
I'm slightly on the timid side when first getting to know new places, people and pets, so you'll need to be kind and patient with me while I settle in.
Oh, and bonus points if you're a basketball fan! I ADORE watching the weekly NBA highlights with my foster parents, taking a seat right in front of the TV every time without fail!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: High! I can make a toy or a game out of anything. I'll need some excellent scratching posts and even then, I may take a liking to your furniture...
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'd love living with kids who'll keep me busy with lots of cuddles and play time!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: After a short period of adjustment I tend to get on really well with other cats!
I haven't met any dogs at this stage.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
