Evie

My name is Evie and I don’t really like other animals at first; but if they don’t come up in my face all the time I will learn to like and trust them. I was born on the streets and had to fend for myself from very young; because of that I don’t trust other animals. They might steal my food or my toys or even my human; so I try and scare them away so that I get to keep them.
I do like humans - I just need someone to take a chance on me and give me the space I need to accept that I am loved and will not be shooed away because sometimes I can be a little bit scared of you.
I will do my very best to love you; I will play with you and make you laugh when I go running as fast as I can for no reason up the hallway; I just need you to give me a chance.
I am slowly getting better and letting humans give me cuddles - but I really like pats and scratches under my chin now.
