These two are such a cute lovable pair. Feliz is so happy and confident; Circe is more wary of her environment. They are looking for a home together.
They are a great age, not a puppy but still plenty of energy and spunk. Mature enough to be calm and enjoy time in the sun while you get on with the boring stuff.
Circe would prefer to be right next to you, however calmly waits and watches to see when her next chance to be on your lap will be. These 2 are great at telling you they want more attention.
They are a great size for a family however not a pair that you can dress up and cart around like some dogs let you do. Circe and Feliz are too sophisticated for this type of play, preferring the ‘I will sit here while you pat and scratch me’ game. Also a family home that is generally calmer or a home that will give Circe time to grow comfortable.
Currently they are mastering living with cats. They are doing well and just need more time to believe that the cats don’t want them in their space and would rather Circe & Feliz did not follow them when the cats decide to turn away and go back to another room. They are very curious about cats (which are the same size as them). Poor Circe and Feliz, it is very confusing for them.
Circe especially would love your home to be a calm and quieter place (or a home that has periods of times like this and you have time for Circe to grow comfortable) with plenty of your company while Feliz is a very go-lucky chap wondering what Circe is worried about. Circe will adapt and her reflex is to back away and watch. Everyday Circe becomes less concerned with the noises you make like when you are in the kitchen making dinner.
They are toilet trained, happy in their own space, and enjoy the outside as much as the inside.
Their check up at the vet revealed that they have luxating patella’s, which is a fancy way of saying the kneecap moves out of the knee. This is something that will need to be reassessed after weight loss and kept an eye on.
If your home is currently missing an energy level of joy and love about two Tenterfield terrier size then you are in luck as these two desire a home like yours to call their own. They want a human or two to claim as their own. Is this you?

Both have luxating patellas which is quite common in small dogs. No surgical intervention is required at this stage, just maintenance and awareness of their abilities.
