We believe Fig would be suitable to live in a home with primary school aged children or older, however it is important that her family is patient with these introductions and encourage respectful interactions between young kids and Fig.

Due to her shy and nervous nature, Fig may prefer the company of calm and gentle dogs who can serve as positive role models and help boost her confidence. While she may need some time to adjust to new canine companions, Fig's sweet demeanor and gentle disposition make her a wonderful potential sibling for another dog. If you do have another dog at home, please make sure you bring them with you to the shelter for a meet & greet!
